My name is Marcia and people are my passion!
I have worked in Human Resources (the people department) for almost 25 years.
I started in my early 20's as an HR assistant in a private high school in Costa Rica and gradually but steadily worked my way up to Recruiter in the healthcare industry to payroll coordinator in the car business to leadership and development training, to HR manager and HR Director.
I have worked every role in HR through the employee life cycle. I have hired people, onboarded people, counseled people, trained people, promoted people, laid off people and terminated people. I've cried with them and I've laughed with them as well.
I have always been fascinated with the way individuals interact in the workplace. The incredible relationships that are built with coworkers when most times you spend more time with each other than with your own family!
What I do is not just the functional and required tasks of the field but most importantly I help you build strong teams where your core values, along with each person's unique gifts, skills and abilities are put to play and placed together into a well oiled machine where everyone wins.
